"c:\windows\system32\killvbs.vbs script can not be found" it says when i start my computer(or my gf's computer) i tried serched everywhere on the internet but look like there is no answers... people told me to trie this forum.

I have windows xp sp 2 fully updated

Hi CoVeS84

To access the Uninstall Manager you would do the following:

1. Start HijackThis
2. Click on the Config button
3. Click on the Misc Tools button
4. Click on the Open Uninstall Manager button.

You will now be presented with a screen similar to the one below:

5. Click on the Save list... button and specify where you would like to save this file. When you press Save button a notepad will open with the contents of that file. Simply copy and paste the contents of that notepad here on your next reply.

Uninstall the unwanted programs
Please go to add/remove programs and make sure the "Show Updates" box at the top right is checked.

Uninstall the following unwanted programs:
Big Fish Games Toolbar
ShoppingReport
Myway
Myweb
MyWebsearch.
Uninstall any of these you may find.

Hijackthis Cleanup
First, close all windows/browsers/applications, please.

Then run hijackthis and "Do a System Scan Only".

Place checks to the left of any of the following that remain:

Then hit the "Fix Checked" button and accept their removal.

Boot to safe mode
Please boot to safe mode now by restarting your computer and continually tapping the F8 key. When the menu appears, use your arrow key to select safe mode and hit the enter key, please.

Delete files
While in safe mode
Use Windows Explorer to navigate to and delete the following files (should they persist):
C:\WINDOWS\retadpu2000373.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\killVBS.vbs
Delete Folders
While still in safe mode
Again use Windows Explorer to navigate to and delete the following folders (should it persist):
C:\Program Files\MyWebSearch
C:\Program Files\ShoppingReport
C:\PROGRAM FILES\BFGTOOLBAR
C:\Program Files\WinPop

Run hijackthis
Close all windows/applications/browsers, run hijackthis and save the log, please.
