What is HKNTDLL.DLL?

Hi. What application uses the module HKNTDLL.DLL? Looking at System Information under loaded modules reveals an unknown version and unknown manufacturer! The only thing revealed is that this DLL is 24KB and located/dumped in c:/windows. I don't use OEM software and/or file sharing so this file seems suspicious!

I did an internet search on this but it pretty much came up empty or listed as unknown. Anyone have any clues?

The info I've found is that the HKNTDLL.DLL file is most likely a
hot-key driver for a keyboard. It would make sense that your
anti-keylogger would see this as a possible key-logger because the way
hot-key drivers work is to intercept keyboard activity looking for
certain key sequences that correspond to assigned hot-keys. Why Norton
was corrupted is not readily apparent, but may have more to do with
your anti-keylogger than the DLL.

If you don't need hot-key support for your keyboard and have no
problems using it without the DLL file, I'd say rename and quarantine
it, or get rid of it.

So most likely a hot-key program for your keyboard.

Perhaps that is correct or maybe it stands for Hong Kong Network DLL! In other words=loads of ____ dynamically loaded into stealth processes.
