Download ComboFix from Here or Here to your Desktop.
  • Double click combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
  • When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log and a HiJackthis log in your next reply

Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while its running. That may cause it to stall

Ive done the following, I was wondering, when norton alerts me there is a virus the route diverts me to temporary internet files, could i somehow clear these files.

Combofix should have cleared those files - If it hasn't there are more urgent threats to worry about right now

There's a hidden file on your PC - I need to get a copy of it to decide what it is & how to treat it

Copy/paste the following quote box into a new notepad (not wordpad) document. Make sure that wordwrap is turned off.

@echo off
For %%g in (
C:\WINDOWS\system32\vddksbjj.exe
) do (
catchme -l nul -c %%g "%%~g.vir"
catchme -l nul -k "%%~g.vir"
if exist "%%~g.vir" del /a/f "%%~g.vir"
)>nul 2>&1
echo. Please submit the file, catchme.zip located on Desktop
pause
exit

Save it to your Desktop as collect.bat. Save it as:
File Type: All Files (not as a text document or it wont work).
Name: collect.bat

Locate collect.bat on your Desktop and double-click it. A DOS window will open briefly and then close, this is normal

  • Go to the upload page here
  • Click Browse
  • Find the catchme.zip file located on your desktop
  • Select the file, then click Open
  • Click Send File
