slow download speed

I am definitely sure that there is no problem with my ISP provider. But my download speed is getting slower than usual. In any site. Browsing has no problems for me but when I download, it just gives me 15kb/s instead of the usual 47 kb/s. ANd the thing is, when I do not do anything related to internet, the network icon still shows some activities like they are downloading and send something. Please check if there is anything wrong with my PC. Thanks!

I'm sorry it's taken so long for you to get a response.

If you still would like help with this problem, I'd like to see an uninstall list and a new HijackThis log:

Open HijackThis, select Open the Misc Tools section
Press the Open Uninstall Manager... button, then press Save list...
Save the Uninstall log to your deskop and include a copy in your next response.
Now press Back and Scan and then Save log to create and save a new HijackThis log.

Once complete, please post the uninstall list and a new HijackThis log.
