I knew a fellow during my navy days. This guy reeked. Had terminal acne and a perspiration problem; all medical n stuff. Even his clothes fresh from the laundry stank! Fantastic fellow and not a bad looking guy (apart from the acne...) but ya didn't wanna be within 10 feet of him!

Oddly enough, I don't find my own or my pets' body odour bad. I think once you understand the normality and harmlessness of it the stigma goes away. Some peope are ridiculous about how disgusting odours are, while not realizing more subtle disgusting things, like ignorance.
