Aisha_1225,

This machine has a quite a few infections and remnants.
As we go through this set of fixes, note anything you see but cannot remove.
If any process fails, just make a note and proceed to the next step.
You can do this, just be patient and work through the fixes. You may want to print this out ahead of time.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Please go to the Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and uninstall NewdotNet. If you don't have that option, or if you have difficulties then please follow the instructions on this site.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Use Add/Remove Programs In Control Panel
From Start,Settings,Control Panel or Start,Control Panel, click Add/Remove Programs.
Highlight the following entries, one at a time, (they won't all exist) and choose Remove :

Bullseye Network
Navisearch
CashBack
Bargain Buddy
CashBack by Bargain Buddy
Weatherbug
WhenU
SaveNow
Save!

If you are asked to reboot after a removal, do it. Then come back to Control Panel and do the next one.
During the Bullseye uninstall you are required to fill out a survey asking why you uninstalled the product - also be careful in answering the Yes/No questions during the uninstall, since they are worded in such a way as to make you keep the product.
During the uninstall process for most of these, you will be presented with several prompts to guide you through uninstalling the product. Read these carefully to make sure you are actually choosing to uninstall rather than keep the software.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Remove log items with HighjackThis. Start HijackThis. If the opening screen shows, choose None of the above, just start the program.
Click Scan. When the Scan is complete, Check the following entries: Be sure to check ONLY these entries.
(Some of these lines may be missing due to other actions)

Make sure ALL OTHER WINDOWS except HiJackThis are closed, and Click Fix Checked.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Stop Processes Prior to Deletion
Close ALL open windows. Use Ctrl-Alt-Delete together to bring up the task manager.
Under the processes tab, if it is visible, check the box 'Show processes from all users'.
One at a time, highlight each of these that are listed and "End Process":

C:\Program Files\VVSN\VVSN.exe

-----------------------------------------------------------
Folder and File Deletion.
Find and Delete this file:
C:\WINDOWS\pxwma.dll

Find and Delete this folder, if present:
C:\Program Files\VVSN\
Note any folder you cannot delete.
You may have to delete all the underlying files and folders before a target folder can be deleted.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Post a New HJT Log
Reboot your computer. Start HijackThis. If the opening screen shows, choose None of the above, just start the program.
Click Do System Scan and Save a Log File. When the Scan is complete, select the whole log (Ctrl-A), copy and paste the log contents in a reply. Also type in any notes you made along the way.

Then we'll have a look and decide on the next step.

Thanks for replying but i found quite a few problems:
*I tried going to the NewdotNet site, and i tried all the options but the message said that that the file I am trying to locate does not exist.
*When i wanted to go to Add/Remove Programs, none of the programs you said to remove existed.
*After that, i got a message on my computer that my Virtual Memory was low and that Windows is trying to increase the Page File, and for this some programs would not be able to run. After this message was displayed, my computer froze and i needed to shut it down and restart. What could this be about?
*When i wanted to end the process of C:\Program Files\VVSN\VVSN.exe. that process was not running. When i looked at my Program Files, that folder did not exist.
*When I tried to find and delete: C:\WINDOWS\pxwma.dll, windows said it did not exist. When i tried to find and delete C:\Program Files\VVSN\, as i stated before, it did not exist as a folder in Program Files.

Aisha_1225,

The low minimum virtual memory usually means that Windows explorer is trying to show a bunch of graphics screens (like photo thumbnails) and needs to make itself a bigger page file.
Was the last HJT log run in Safe Mode?
First, make sure you sign in using an account with administrative rights.
Boot into normal mode.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Set Your Computer to Show All Files
Go to My Computer->Tools/View->Folder Options->View tab and make sure that 'Show hidden files and folders' (or 'Show all files') is enabled. Also make sure that 'Display the contents of system folders' is checked. In addition, if you have Windows XP, go to Start, Search. When you click on 'All files and folders' on the left pane, click on the 'More advanced options' at the bottom. Make sure that 'Search system folders', 'Search hidden files and folders', and 'Search subfolders' are checked.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Post a New HJT Log
Start HijackThis. If the opening screen shows, choose None of the above, just start the program.
Click Do System Scan and Save a Log File. When the Scan is complete, select the whole log (Ctrl-A), copy and paste the log contents in a reply.

Aisha_1225,

Sign in as a User with administrative rights.
Print this out in case you need it while offline.

In order to properly complete the fixes, you will need to let me know of anything you remove or install that is not part of our instructions.
Our first order of business is to properly remove NewdotNet so the rest of the removals can be completed.

If you didn't do it already, download LSPFix from here : http://www.cexx.org/LSPFix.exe and save it to your desktop.
DO NOT RUN IT.

From the log, it looks as if New.Net (NewdotNet) was uninstalled or otherwise removed. I need to know if it was removed manually(folders deleted, etc.) or if it was uninstalled from Add/Remove Programs, or if it is still showing up as a web page. This infection can wipe out your internet connection if someone tries to delete it without using Newdotnet's own Remove procedure.
You presently have that O10 entry that needs attention, but just deleting it is not safe.
It should be removed using Add/Remove NewdotNet from the Control Panel, or by following the Instructions at NewdotNet's website.
IF AND ONLY IF If you lose Internet connectivity after this fix, boot into SAFE MODE and Run LSPFix; click "I know what I am doing", and "Fix".

Let's try again on NewdotNet. Also, while we are in there, see if iMesh Toolbar still shows :
-----------------------------------------------------------
Use Add/Remove Programs In Control Panel
From Start,Settings,Control Panel or Start,Control Panel, click Add/Remove Programs.
Highlight the following entries (if they exist) and choose Remove :

New.Net or NEWDOTNET
iMesh
iMeshToolbar

If NewdotNet has no Remove program listed then do the following:
Go to http://www.newdotnet.com/removal.html
If not found there, go to the main website http://www.newdotnet.com/ and search for removal or uninstall instructions.
Scroll down to Procedure 4 in the removal instructions and follow the procedure.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Remove log items with HighjackThis. Start HijackThis. If the opening screen shows, choose None of the above, just start the program.
Click Scan. When the Scan is complete, Check the following entries:
(lines may be missing)
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Connection Wizard,ShellNext = http://www.windupdates.com/remove.php?s ... 0Relevancy
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar,LinksFolderName =
O4 - HKLM\..\RunOnce: [iMeshBar Uninstall] rundll32 C:\PROGRA~1\UNINST~1.DLL,O -2
O16 - DPF: Yahoo! Pool 2 - http://download.games.yahoo.com/games/c ... pote_x.cab
O16 - DPF: {01A88BB1-1174-41EC-ACCB-963509EAE56B} (SysProWmi Class) - http://support.dell.com/systemprofiler/SysPro.CAB

Make sure all other windows except HJT are closed, and Click Fix Checked.

Reboot into Normal Mode and Post a New HJT Log
Let me know how it goes.
