[DNSHighjacker-85 255] SEARCH HIJACKER!!!! HELP

Unread postby ProjectPedro » March 18th, 2007, 8:27 am

Hello

All my searches on Google are being hijacked by monstermarketplace.com. My search page will always have this site at the top plus lots of other sites are normally visable i.e. heavy.com. They all seem to be linked to biglom.com.

I have tried to fix it by using Spybot search and destroy and norton Anti Virus to no avail.

I also used 'Fixwareout' but that also didn't work. Part of the instructions when using Fixwareout was that hijackthis would relaunch on log on and that I should close it and rename it hjt.exe. What is the significance of renaming Hijackthis?

Is there any chance that the virus is a 'keylogger' and that my passwords could be under threat?

All assistence would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Peter

Attached is my hijackthis log:
