Absolute beginner. Suddenly find that I can no longer go straight to GOOGLE but I am kidnapped and taken to DERBIZ.
I have run SPYBOT TROJAN HUNTER etc but still the same problem.
Ideas please!!

You will need to post a HijackThis log for me to review. To do this:
Left-Click on this link and Save hijackthis_sfx.exe to your Desktop.
Locate and Double Left-Click on this file and in the 'Open File - Security Warning' window that opens, Left-Click on Run.
In the 'Winzip Self-Extractor' window that opens, Left-Click on Unzip.
When you get the message '1 file(s) unzipped successfully', Left-Click on OK and then close the open window.

Locate HijackThis.exe that is located in the HijackThis folder in C:Program Files. To do this:
Double Left-Click on the My Computer icon then Double Left-Click on Local Disk (C:).
Locate and Double Left-Click on the Program Files folder.
Locate and Double Left-Click on the HijackThis folder.
You should now see HijackThis.exe.

Run HijackThis and post a log. To do this:
Double Left-Click HijackThis.exe.
In the window that appears, Left-Click on 'Do a system scan and save a logfile'.
When HijackThis has finished scanning it will open a window entitled 'hijackthis.log - Notepad'.
Right-Click anywhere in this window and from the menu that appears, Left-Click on Select All.
Now Right-Click again and from the menu that appears, Left-Click on Copy
A copy of this log is now stored on your clipboard.
Come back to this forum and 'Post a reply'. Right-Click anywhere in the open window and from the menu that appears, Left-Click on Paste.
You should now see the log that HijackThis generated.

Hopefully this will enable me to identify anything unsavoury that has found it's way onto your computer and help you to remove it.

As a Trainee, all my posts will be checked before you see them, so you don't have to worry about their accuracy.
I'm sure between us, we can get things back to normal.
