Ok, new thing: While running Secunia SI It tells me my flash adobe & macromedia are out of date.

I delete the old one (adobe) and DL the new version 9.0,28,0 I had 9,0,16,0

to my DT dbl click and it seems to intall, but I cant find it anywhere and secunia still says i have the old version. I cannot find the macromedia flah that it talks about , on my system anywhere.

what do I do?

Have you rebooted since you installed the new version?

Check to make sure that Macromedia isn't in the Untrusted Publishers list of IE.

To do this click Tools>Internet Options>Content>Publishers>Untrusted Publishers.

If a Macromedia Certificate is in that list the hilite it and click Remove.

Then try reinstalling Flash.

macromedia is NOT in that list, there are 2 from verisign..something or other..only

about adobe says this: You have version 9,0,28,0 installed

secunia says otherwise..?

OK... could be a cookie thing then... try turfing your cookies and doing the Secunia scan again.

it turns out that i had to go into C:windows/system32/macromed/flash/flash.7x..& 9.10 or something and delete the whole shibang after emptying recycle bin..then secunia cleared me...
