Help with my brothers computer please

Unread postby misty72 » February 19th, 2007, 10:13 am

My brothers computer crashed and the following message came up,

"Windows could not start because the following files are missing or corrupt,/windows/system32/config/system"
"you can repair this file by starting windows setup using the original setup cd rom. Select R at the 1st screen to start repair"

Any advice i could give him please?
