Hey guys,
Just recently i lost interenet connection via wireless and wired (cable). I contacted the cable company and everything is fine with them. I have a feeling it is some sort of malware. Here is my most recent HJT log. Plesae help.

I appear to get a IP address, but no connectivity or Internet.

You do not seem to have any malware

This line may be your problem:-
O10 - Broken Internet access because of LSP provider 'c:\windows\system32\mclsp.dll' missing

It is a part of the McAfee AV program, but it may have had a problem.
Check in windows explorer that this files does exist.

If it does - then do the following.

Now please Download LSPFix from http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm and Run the Program. Disconnect from the Internet and close all Internet Explorer Windows. Check the "I know what I'm doing" Button and WITHOUT PUTTING ANYTHING into the remove section. Press the finish button.

Then Reboot.

To see a tutorial on how to use this program click the link below:

Using LSP-Fix to remove LSP Spyware & Hijackers

This :-

R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {4D25F926-B9FE-4682-BF72-8AB8210D6D75} - (no file)

Is an orphaned entry - it would not cause your problem, but you can fix it in hijackthis. Check the item, and with all other windows closed, press the fix checked button.

Reboot and do another hijackthis log for me, and hopefully your internet connection will be working again.

If that McAfee file is missing, I think you might be best to re-install that McAfee probgram.

For general computer, help as you have a Dell machine, you would probably be best to visit the Dell Community Forum.
http://www.dellcommunity.com/supportforums/
They would be able to assist you with the reinstall of McAfee AV.

Thanks for the quick response, i was not able to locate that file in the correct given location. Therefore, as requested i did remove the mcafee security suite along with the other fix that you mentioned. After the uninstallation, i still can not connect to the internet.

I noticed that it wil not contact the DHCP server in order to get a correct IP address, i do what i know to do and continually get an ip of 169.254.243.22, subnet 255.255.0.0. Also here is the recent HJT log.

Any idea what I should do from here?

OKay im back, after i just posted that i actually decided to run the LSP.exe.
It fixed the issue!!!!

I am greatful for your help and also as a freshman, this has taught me some valuable knowledge!

However, quick question - exactly what does LSP do that enables it to make this sort of issue work and how did you know to direct me in that position?

Since you are a Freshman, that would be a good question for the Debating Chamber. ;)
