This will be removed when you follow my "All Clean" steps.

My computer seems to be running fine except for the fact that I can no longer update my OS. It tells me that I don't have a legal product key. I have had this OS for over a year, and updated it many times.

Let's see if this can help.
Can you please download a diagnostic tool (MGADiag.exe) from >here< and save this to your Desktop
Double-click on MGADiag.exe
When the program has finished, click on the Validation tab and then click on Copy to Clipboard
Please reply with the results.
