They'll be back at Lowes Motor Speedway Oct 15th for the UAW-GM Quality 500.

Have you been to one before?

Oh, yes! Sat at the top of the General Admission bandstand and loved every minute of it!

I certainly hope things work out to be able to go in October. Ain't NOTHING like a nascar race!

I hope to be able to a NASCAR event as well. Would love to see one at either Daytona or Talladega. Think Bristol would be a blast as well. :D

Oh! Any of them would be fantasitc, 'Kota. Tho, Bristol would be closest for me to get to. To be in Thunder Valley with all those engines running.......AWESOME!

On a side note, I went to the dragstrip at Rockingham many years ago and had a blast. Even got a signed pic from Sox and Martin in the pits. That's how long ago it was. Wish I still had it. Have no idea what happened to it. Shame, too.

Drag racing is cool too...

Have a strip about an hour from where I live that I have seen Top Fuel Funny Cars and Dragsters at a few times. Feeling the sound from those engines reverberate through your whole body is an experience, to say the least :D

Try to get to at least one of those events a year.
