A Critical vulnerability exists in Adobe Flash Player 10.1.82.76 and earlier versions for Windows, Macintosh, Linux, and Solaris, and Adobe Flash Player 10.1.92.10 for Android. This vulnerability also affects Adobe Reader 9.3.4 and earlier versions for Windows, Macintosh and UNIX, and Adobe Acrobat 9.3.4 and earlier versions for Windows and Macintosh. This vulnerability (CVE-2010-2884) could cause a crash and potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system. There are reports that this vulnerability is being actively exploited in the wild against Adobe Flash Player on Windows. Adobe is not aware of any attacks exploiting this vulnerability against Adobe Reader or Acrobat to date.

Adobe recommends users of Adobe Flash Player 10.1.82.76 and earlier versions for Windows, Macintosh, Linux, and Solaris update to Adobe Flash Player 10.1.85.3, and users of Adobe Flash Player 10.1.92.10 for Android update to Adobe Flash Player 10.1.95.1.

These vulnerabilities, including CVE-2010-3654 referenced in Security Advisory APSA10-05, could cause the application to crash and could potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system.

Adobe recommends users of Adobe Flash Player 10.1.85.3 and earlier versions for Windows, Macintosh, Linux, and Solaris update to Adobe Flash Player 10.1.102.64. We expect to make available an update for Flash Player 10.x for Android by November 9, 2010.

There are reports that this vulnerability is being exploited in the wild in targeted attacks via a malicious Web page, or a Flash (.swf) file embedded in a Microsoft Word (.doc) or Microsoft Excel (.xls) file delivered as an email attachment, targeting the Windows platform.

Adobe recommends users of Adobe Flash Player 10.2.153.1 and earlier versions (Adobe Flash Player 10.2.154.25 and earlier versions for Chrome users) for Windows, Macintosh, Linux, and Solaris update to Adobe Flash Player 10.2.159.1 (Adobe Flash Player 10.2.154.27 for Chrome users). Adobe recommends users of Adobe AIR 2.6.19120 and earlier versions for Windows, Macintosh and Linux update to Adobe AIR 2.6.19140. Adobe expects to make available an update for Adobe Flash Player 10.2.156.12 and earlier versions for Android no later than the week of April 25, 2011.

These vulnerabilities could cause the application to crash and could potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system. There are reports of malware attempting to exploit one of the vulnerabilities, CVE-2011-0627, in the wild via a Flash (.swf) file embedded in a Microsoft Word (.doc) or Microsoft Excel (.xls) file delivered as an email attachment targeting the Windows platform. However, to date, Adobe has not obtained a sample that successfully completes an attack.

Adobe recommends users of Adobe Flash Player 10.2.159.1 and earlier versions (Adobe Flash Player 10.2.154.28 and earlier versions for Chrome users) for Windows, Macintosh, Linux and Solaris update to Adobe Flash Player 10.3.181.14. This universal cross-site scripting vulnerability (CVE-2011-2107) could be used to take actions on a user's behalf on any website or webmail provider, if the user visits a malicious website. There are reports that this vulnerability is being exploited in the wild in active targeted attacks designed to trick the user into clicking on a malicious link delivered in an email message.

Adobe recommends users of Adobe Flash Player 10.3.181.16 and earlier versions for Windows, Macintosh, Linux and Solaris update to Adobe Flash Player 10.3.181.22 (10.3.181.23 for ActiveX). Adobe expects to make available an update for Flash Player 10.3.185.22 for Android during the week of June 6, 2011.

Adobe recommends users of Adobe Flash Player 10.3.181.36 and earlier versions for Windows, Macintosh, Linux and Solaris update to Adobe Flash Player 10.3.183.5. Users of Adobe Flash Player for Android 10.3.185.25 and earlier versions should update to Adobe Flash Player for Android 10.3.186.3. Users of Adobe AIR 2.7 for Windows and Macintosh, should update to 2.7.1 and users of AIR 2.7 for Android should update to Adobe AIR 2.7.1.1961.

Note: Adobe is not aware of any exploits 'in the wild' for the issues addressed in this update.
