To use it, you need 2 files:

1. IE-SPYAD for ZonedOut

2. ZonedOut Program

Step 1

  1. Locate the ZonedOut.zip that you've downloaded earlier.
  2. Right click on ZonedOut.zip and select Extract All....
  3. Click Next on seeing the Welcome to the Compressed (zipped) Folders Extraction Wizard.
  4. Click on the Browse button. Click on the + sign to expand My Computer.
  5. Click once on your C drive or the drive where Windows is installed to select it. (1)
  6. Click OK. (2)

  7. Click Next. It will start extracting.
  8. Once done, uncheck (untick) the Show extracted files box.

Step 2

  1. Double click on ie-spyad_zo.exe.
  2. Click Unzip. By default, it will install to C:\ie-spyad_zo.
  3. Navigate to C:\ZonedOut and double click on ZonedOut.exe. ( Image )
  4. Click on Menu > Remove Sites > Remove All. (If you use IE-SPYAD2, on the top right hand corner, select Local Machine from the drop-down list, next to Current Key.
  5. Click on Menu > Import/Export Sites > Import From File.
  6. Navigate to the C:\ie-spyad_zo folder and select ie-ads.txt file.
  7. Click Open.
  8. It will prompt you to check for errors. You can choose to skip it or do the error checking. If you check it for errors, a dialog box will pop up once it's done.
  9. Installation is done!
Note 1: The step in brown is for those who used IE-SPYAD/IE-SPYAD2. If you haven't used IE-SPYAD/IE-SPYAD2 before, you can skip to Step 5.

Note 2: To install IE-SPYAD for everybody on your computer, select Local Machine from the drop-down list next to Current Key.
