The proof-of-concept rootkit, called SubVirt, exploits known security flaws and drops a VMM (virtual machine monitor) underneath a Windows or Linux installation.

When it should come to times were malware provides it's own VM services to wrap the formerly "lonely" OS nicely in a VM, I hope we don't have so many users surfing around with admin privileges. Otherwise we'll face a desaster.
