56k modem so sorry it is just a blue screen with some files on it, but more and more I feel my computer is my 40gb external harddrive and that all the places that I connect it to are just access points.

Not really a problem, this topic is quite standard to forums and often they come with a warning to people with dail-up modems, I think for uploading speed, refreshment rate and expense. Besides, imagine thisblue screen of death without text and and a mixture of icons and files(resembling the mess and that happiness one feels when one hasn't tidied up ones room moreso because one should tidy up ones room and thought um some other time then) and there you have the desktop that I am looking at now.

I don't have to imagine what a cluttered desktop looks like, my brother's looks like an explosion in an icon factory. He'll soon be needing a dual monitor set up, just to fit all his junk on screen.

Have tried (and failed) to get him to scrap some of his unused programs, but might as well be talking Mandarin Chinese for all the notice he takes.

He's just picked up an infection, and called up begging for help, so I'll be out his place this weekend with a smug superior smile on my face, and a "if you'd only listened to me" lecture at the ready.

How he can even notice pop-ups on his screen is still beyond me.

Yes I know, if I put those icons away I can't remember where they are, and if I leave out on the desktop I can't rememebr which one is which. So often I am left to wonder if I take after the lion, the robot or the scarecrow in the wizard of Oz or I could just be Dorathy? Um, anyone seem the ruby shoes icon then.

Wow, I don't have a big screen to fit all those icons like to Nellie's. It shows that you're very busy :D

Here's one of mine right now. Unfortunately I can't keep the pop ups from coming, so it's underneath all of them :P

Don't ave time for fancy resizing and all, so click here for pop up funness.
