Ok I agree this was a silly topic but the trend is there, moreover, cuteness, like in the ipod and and ibook has a growing appeal, and one, like the growing love of ones own username, which we will see more and more of. Imagine, in a short while these computers will be voice activated, they will, like the CD players in car today be able to follow your voice instuctions, but they will reply too. Can you imagine talking to your computer, and since we can already choose what voice we want our computers to speek in 'navigator", it only goes a short way to chosing how and what we would like him/her/it to relate to us. Are we there yet, no, but if you asked any computer maker, he would say that the drawback not for us but for the general public the keyboard while the drawback for the computer maker is the batery life, this idea becomes obvious, since anyone no matter what age could befriend it, the device is hands free, tells you what is on television, reminds you of your mother's birthday, says "And how was work, listen if you conect me to a screen and keyboard I show you pictures of and you can do sudoku puzzles". Well, do you really think this idea is faroff, remember those dictation programs which wrote letters and will already have computers for the blind which talk to us, the saving in battery life, etc., etc., now the real question is not what name you will give your computer since that of course that will the first thing they will ask you to do for it, it will be whether after a while you could ever go back to being without it.
