Malware Analysis

Unread postby shahjee » March 23rd, 2017, 10:07 am

Dear All,
I am performing Malware Analysis, I have a list of some malwares, could anyone please tell me how would I find out the type of a malware using its Hash? For example whether a malware is a worm, backdoor, trojon or of any other type.

Thanks

As your post is not a direct request for help with an infected machine, I have moved it to where it is more likely to get a response.

If you do have an infected machine you need help with, please read and follow the instructions ... HERE ... which will tell you what we need from you.

I Googled "malware hash database" without the quotes and got several sites possibly containing the hash lookup for malware:
https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=ma ... database&*

Hope this helps. :)
