Hello!
When do newly registered members receive privileges such as adding an avatar and signature? Is there a post somewhere with this kind of information?
Is there a symbol key?

Hi Kathy
You should be able to change your avatar from your User Control Panel. To access your control panel, just click on
User Control Panel which is under the
Board index link.
From there, click on
Profile (present on the left hand side) and then click on
Edit Avatar.

When I go to
Edit avatar, I get this:

Edit signature, I get this:

I figured that I have to pass some milestone or qualification to gain these privileges. I've been looking all over the board for something that defined terms, member's privileges and a symbol key.

Due to the previous abuse of signatures and avatars by members of the registered users group these settings have been disabled, and are now only available to members of the Univeristy.
