Mitch Mitchell, the British drummer in the seminal 1960s band the Jimi Hendrix Experience, has been found dead in his US hotel room.

He was also the drummer in Hendrixs "Band Of Gypsys" and played with him at Woodstock.

I saw this story yesterday. I've been a huge Hendrix fan since i was a young boy. I can only imagine what Hendrix would have evolved into had he not died so young.
