I haven't been able to access castlecops for a few days and was wondering if it's my computer or something else.

I can't access it at the moment either, but have been able to do so all day today. Could be work on the server or could be the site is under attack, CC is often targeted by the opposition. Try later and see if the problem persists.

It seems to be working for me but very very slowly. I don't think they got those new servers they needed. The bar is still there.

hmm, no matter how often i try I keep getting a network timeout error...is it possible to tweak some settings so that it just waits until the server responds?
