Unread postby webbenji » December 30th, 2007, 10:16 am

Hello all!

While I'm waiting for my practice log to be checked, I though I'll show you some of my pictures :D

http://www.panoramio.com/user/12458

My camera is a simple Olympus D545 Zoom ( C480 Zoom in Europe), 4.0 MP and 3X optical zoom. :D

So what do you guys think of my pictures? :)
Which one is your favorite? And why? :cyclopsani: :cyclopsani:

Guess my favorite was the Golden Gate Bridge. That was because I sailed under it and we had to wait until low tide to do it !

Lightning.

I like that picture too, it took me around 1000 tries over a year to get one...

If you live here, there are no shortage of lightning pictures.

Just a note though, don't get strike by it. Most who are struck by it have no good ending. Simply put, most end up dead.

Or try Malaysia and Thailand. They have about the same weather pattern as Singapore.

Any of the mountain shots.

I'm a keen skier, and for various reasons I can't have my usual couple of weeks skiing this year, so anything with snow and mountains looks good to me. :D

the mountain seans are beautiful but I also love the lightning being struck twice while inside a building ( within 5 min) has given me an indepth appreciation of its beauty and power. :D :D Short circuts the brain cells occasionally. Hehe :D  :alien:

Exellant photos webbenji :)

My favorite is "Grand Veymont, looking behind" i like the way you used the cave (i assume it is a cave) to frame the mountain view

"France, sunrise, From my window" It looks like a picture I took here in Indiana a couple years ago. Mine was just at sunset. Must have been some nasty weather in France that morning. Those cloud formations are often seen on the trailing edge of a strong to severe thunderstorm.
