Using outlook today and my email notifications that I get from different forums, I'm unable to use the direct link, just doesn't connect.
was fine yesterday.

Do you mean that clicking on links in outlook doesn't work?

Yes when you recieve the notification of a post and you want to link direct from the lower display pane. :)
