What's the best beer?

I think the "best" beer in the USA is a tie between the Budweiser made Michelob Amber Bock and Haffenreffer Private Stock.
Both are reminiscent of very good Bitters from the other side of the pond, except of course they are cold brewed.

Don't partake as much as I used to, so I don't want to waste the effort on crummy stuff. And I agree with Nick on the dregs.

• Woodforde's - Wherry Bitter

Yes - I am a big fan of Black Sheep (see my avatar).

I am also rather partial to a bottle (or two) of Pelforth Brun when in France.

But seriously, having to put up with Spanish lager beers, I yearn for CAMRA beers, even if they aren't the best selling beers

It's probably because I don't often get any Exmoor or Usher's
Old Peculiar is my regular drink now, since my local Wetherspoons sell it for £1.50 a pint

WHAT I pay getting on for £3, so when I get it I savour it and enjoy it more. I suppose I am paying for the benefit of living in the middle of nowhere.
