Need Some Help

Unread postby Slim Nelson » February 22nd, 2014, 9:06 pm

Hey guys, been awhile...

Just recently, my dad got a virus on his computer and he wanted me to reformat it. Without even thinking to try to get rid of the virus first with at least some of the training you guys gave me, I went ahead and reformatted it. He gave me the discs for everything and I figured it would be a snap, it was easy enough reinstalling the operating system and I proceeded to install all the drivers with the disc but I'm having issues. I installed one called Intel PROSet/Wireless and connected to our connection but can't browse anywhere online.

Drivers drive me crazy...

Why not share your resolution... so others, having the same issue, can be helped by your efforts. ;)

Agreed! Although I wouldn't say that I resolved the problem...
All I did was just download Chrome on a jump drive from my computer and then installed on my dad's computer that way. Internet worked fine using Chrome, must be some stupid settings or issues in Internet Explorer. I don't know why there would be though considering I reformatted the computer to factory out-of-box state... :?
