DRIVER_CORRUPTED_EXPOOL

Ive been getting the blue screen that says :

Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. Were just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart it for you.
If you'd like to know more info, you can search online later for this error: DRIVER_CORRUPTED_EXPOOL

I have googled this issue. says the first step is updating drivers. I read that manually updating drivers is not the best way? I am just looking for a good software that can update drivers for me. I have googled a few but do not trust downloading any.

If you can’t start Windows 10 successfully, enter Safe Mode then does the actions in Safe Mode.

Solution 1: Uninstall the problematic drivers

Go to Device Manager and find out the faulty drivers. The device with a yellow sign on it has a faulty driver. Then follow steps below to uninstall the driver.

1. In Device Manager, right click on the device with a yellow sign and click Uninstall. (Repeat this for each driver that has a driver problem.)

2. Restart your computer then Windows will reload the driver automatically.

Solution 2: Check for updated drivers on the manufacturer’s website

If uninstalling drivers doesn’t work, update the drivers. Go to your PC manufacturer’s website and check for the driver updates. The manufacturer would release new drivers in order to fix some bugs. Download and install the new drivers.

If you have difficulty with updating drivers manually, you can use Driver Easy to help you. Driver Easy will scan your computer and detect all problem drivers, then give you a list of new drivers. So if the DRIVER_CORRUPTED_EXPOOL problem is caused by a faulty driver, you can use Driver Easy to fix it quickly. You can use Driver Easy Free version to update the drivers, but with the Professional version, you can enjoy free technical support guarantee. If Driver Easy doesn’t help resolve the problem, you can contact our support team for further assistance. For more information about Professional version, please visit here.

Solution 3: Remove faulty software

If the problem occurred after you installed any new software, it most probably was caused by this software. Remove them and see if the problem persists.
