Please help me remove "PC Speed Maximizer"

Hello, I'm brand new to your site, I'm glad to have found you.
Almost immediately upon getting my new laptop this program "PC Speed Maximizer" installed itself somehow.
I have searched the uninstall programs list in the control panel and cannot find it anywhere.

It is set up in a way that makes it totally impossible to figure out how to remove it, or even contact them to get them to remove it, ie: through their website.

I am SOOOO sick of seeing the window pop up everytime I turn on my computer telling me it has detected 7988 errors on my computer!!

How can I remove this unsightly and annoying piece of @#$#@$@$!@?
Please help.

1. Press the Windows key + R on your keyboard to open a Run Command window
   
2. In the Run Command box, copy & paste the following command & click OK:

%programfiles%\PC Speed Maximizer

• Locate the file unins000.exe
  
  
  • If your Operating System is Windows XP, double click the file unins000.exe and follow the prompts.
  • If your Operating System is Windows Vista or 7, right click the file unins000.exe and choose "Run as administrator". Follow the prompts.
  
  
  
• Reboot after removing.

Should these instructions fail to resolve the issue, please reply with full details of your Operating System.
EG: Windows version, 32bit or 64bit, etc.

I think I have been successful with this...will soon see over the next few days.

I looked under the program files to find the folder PC Speed Maximizer (from browse, once I was in "run" it did not find it as the other name recommended to run) and lo and behold... then opened the 000 file and it said it has been removed. Just got to reboot now.
