Vista with XP VM: Is second AV needed?

Unread postby Malware Hater » June 2nd, 2009, 9:54 pm

I'm just wondering, if I set up a XP VM on my Vista machine which is now protected by an AV program, do I need to install a second AV program for XP?

It would seem the connection goes through the Vista connection, unless I'm not understanding this.

It is a separate file system so you should have an AV on the XP machine as well as the Vista machine.
