Is this safe? If you go here and click on
Harder (But better) Version - Kerio
I get this and it reads like a 2am infomercial of something I really do not want. I trust the MWR recomendations I'm just wondering If I got a redirect or the MRU page is outdated.

Yes, the Kerio Firewall is now owned by Sunbelt.

Sunbelt wrote:

Sunbelt Personal Firewall used to be called the Kerio Personal Firewall (KPF). Kerio was going to discontinue it, but Sunbelt acquired it from Kerio to save the product from "going under".

This firewall is good, but as the Computer Safety article has written, it can be hard to use.

If you have used Sygate before, you will like this one. The firewall itself works similarly to Sygate. There are more protection features, but it's not present in Sygate as Sygate is old.
