edit facility on HJT threads has returned?

I am following a thread in the HJT section of a victim who I guided to this forum for help to get clean ;I notice that the victim has managed to edit the header section into the posting ; I notice that the edit facility is available on this new board ; will its use be appropriately monitored IN the log section ?
