hi,
i've been infected with "trojan.galapoper.a & can't get rid of it. Norton want £30 off me to fix it!!! i've searched symantec to remove it & it's a load of crap. i can't run a virus scan or view my firewall settings. HELP!

Please download HijackThis version 1.99.1 from HERE and make sure to unzip and to it's own, permanent folder.
Help with unzipping files is HERE
To run HijackThis click Scan and then Save log, Post the new log in a reply to this thread. I would be happy to take a look at it.
