Need help to recover from new ransomware

Unread postby activenets » July 28th, 2021, 8:17 pm

I have looked everywhere for this ransomware and have concluded it is new possibly?

Our Server and all computers were presented with the message when turned on (No operating system will load):

“Your data upload to public soon decrypt
contact: BigServer2021@ tutanota.com
gvfrtfdhglggl @cock.li password: ”

I anonymously emailed the hacker through a VPN and they want 1.0 BTC for the password. Sorry, I don't have ~$39,000 USD nor would I send it to them. They did actually send me a list of every computer on the network they hacked.

There is no access to the hard drives or three backup drives and a partition recovery failed. We have used data recovery software but it finds no current files and those that are current show a zero file size. What can we do to recover the data? Has anyone heard of this attack?

The best place to post for help with Ransomeware is .... https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums ... try3964407 .... they have a number of Ransomeware specialists on Staff, and are most likely to be able to assist you.

Sadly not all encrypted files can be decrypted, but the experts at Bleeping Computer will be able to tell you more.
