duplicate services running slowing down startup

Unread postby curlyque32 » July 30th, 2019, 1:01 pm

I have been trying to speed up my computer at startup. I have disabled all startup programs, I only have one account, which is my administrator account, and I have moved the majority of my personal files to an external hard drive. I have 537 GB unallocated space +183 GB unallocated space when I view the partitions on my computer( I don't really understand what that means, but it looks like free space. ) . I have tried to educate myself to attempt to gain some insight on what is going on, but I remain lost. I would greatly appreciate any help in understanding why my computer starts up so slow and the disk runs at 97%-100% for over 5 minutes after loading home screen. There also seems to be many of the processes that run duplicate times or more, and even some that say 32 bit when i have a 64 system >
Many thanks

Unfortunately, as you have replayed to your own topic, the topic must be closed as it would likely go unnoticed by helpers who are looking for topics that have only a single post.

May I draw your attention to the topic: ALL USERS OF THIS FORUM MUST READ THIS FIRST, which you should have read before posting for help.

The section here explains why you should not reply to your topic before a helper replies.

Please start a new topic with just a single post, and this time attach your logs, then wait for a helper to reply. Thank you for your understanding.

This topic is now closed.
