Virus removal - HELP!!

Unread postby JRCC07+ » October 30th, 2018, 11:45 am

I have a laptop which I cannot use as it has a virus on it - I had AVG free software installed on it, and needed to uninstall this as I bought new software and needed to do this to load on the new security software. When I had uninstalled the AVG and connected to the interest, the virus attacked, and now it is on my laptop. I cannot install the new software still, because some of the AVG stuff is still on the laptop somewhere, even though I uninstalled it from the control panel. I need to get the virus removed first then deal with the AVG thing after. The virus goes into the internet as a hidden network which can't be switched off. The only way to stop the hidden network is to put the laptop into aeroplane mode, however this obviously loses internet connection. Can anyone help with this? Thanks.
