Ultimate solution to remove System Healer redirect. pls help

System Healer application has landed on my PC. I have consulkted a private 'malware removal company' they have come up for a starter with the following instruction.

'your predicament reminds a stubborn adware called System Healer. If that is the case, you may try removing it manually as outlined here http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/ ... em-healer/ or elswehere, e.g. http://sureshotsoftware.com/guides/remo ... em-healer/
please note it may bear different names, so that if you have got infected with adware dubbed otherwise, that may readily still be the same systemhealer scam...'

What do you think? is this a reliable tip?
Thank you very much in advance for your prompt reply!!!
