Hi- Avast found this and put it in the Virus Chest. I know nothing about this sort of thing but have read that rootkits bury themselves very deep and are hard to find/get rid of. I had Windows Defender do a complete scan (took over 12 hours) and it said I'm clean. Is it safe for me to do my online banking now or is there something else I need to do? Thanx for your help, I'm very nervous about this.
