Do I have the COM Surrogate infection?

Unread postby s9dd » May 10th, 2015, 1:39 pm

I noticed a process that is appearing every 2 or so seconds: dllhost.exe * 32 naming "COM Surrogate" as the description.
AVG does not see an infection.
HitManPro does not see an infection.
MalwareBytes does not see an infection.
But the process appears to be interrupting the GUI thread in Ableton Live 9. And I cannot tell what is causing the process to trigger.

It's Win7x64 box.

I would appreciate some help to find out what is going on.
many thanks
DD.
