Shift key not working in Firefox

Unread postby illiesunny » January 22nd, 2015, 3:10 pm

Hi,
I really need help. My shift key is disabled when I try to log on to any sites while using Firefox. I am now using Internet Explorer.
It was working fine for the last 4 months (when I bought this new laptop) and now no longer functions. I've tried many fixes suggested
by the Firefox support group and nothing has worked. I have uninstalled and re-installed Firefox at least 5 times. I tried completely clearing my
computer and had it revert to factory settings, still no good.
Why would this only happen while using Firefox. BTW, I do have the latest version. I have a Windows 8 machine.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

By posting just a description of your problems it is likely that your topic will be passed by and you will not receive the help you're looking for.

We need to know what's running on your computer so we can give you appropriate instructions.

May I draw your attention to THIS topic, which you should have read, and which tells you what we need you to post so that we can help you.

If for any reason you can't run FRST, please let us know in your post.
