howdy all, my pc has been sluggish lately. so i'm looking for causes. thx

Might I also add, that HijackThis is no longer a reliable tool for analysing your computer, it's pretty much obsolete now, since it's not compatible with many modern Operating Systems, and its findings can not be relied upon to be accurate.

It's clear from the log sections that you've posted that you do have an infection that needs removing, so if you still need help ....
