Need help removing an infection

I have Windows 7.
Here are some of my problems:
-There are extra icons in my tool bar. One is a flag with red circle and an "x" on it.
-I have unusual program files that I don't recall having:
"default programs"
"desktop gadget gallery"
"internet explorer (64-bit)"
"XPS viewer"
"Microsoft Visual Studio 2005"
"Microsoft Silverlight"
-I am unable to uninstall these programs and other programs that I had personally installed
-I can't open some programs. I get this message: "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item".
-Some of my programs are not working properly. E.g. my windows media player doesn't always properly open and more specifically, I am unable to look at all of my pictures in a folder without having to individually select each item.

I don't know much about this but I think this is a malware. I've tried scanning my computer with "Malwarebytes anti-malware" and "SUPERantispyware" but hasn't helped. Any help would be awesome!
