Hi 2bd,

Let try this to see if a plug/extension maybe causing the problem. We have a couple of options to try. We will do this one first.

We are going to set firefox in safemode to disable addons then see if youtube works.

Run Firefox in safemode:
  • Close Firefox browser.
  • Now hold down the shift key on your keyboard. Then click on firefox icon to open browser.
  • You will get a popup box. Click on the button Start in Safe Mode.

Now go to youtube to see if it works. Let me know how that goes.

Hi 2bd,

If you still have Complitly in your program list uninstall it. If you have already uninstalled then you can skip this step.

Add/Remove Programs
I need you to uninstall a program from your computer.
  1. Click on Start -> Control Panel and depends on View by selection in upper right corner:
    • If Category - click on Uninstall Programs.
    • If Icons - click on Programs and Features.
  2. Locate the following program:
    Complitly
  3. Click on the Change/Remove button to uninstall it.
  4. When the program have been uninstalled, please close Control Panel.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

We need to check if a folder/file is still present on your computer.

Create a batch file
  • Open Notepad.
  • Copy/paste the following text into the empty Notepad window.
    Code: Select all
    @echo off
    dir D:\*.* /L /A /B /S|Find "iLivid" >> "%userprofile%\desktop\look.txt"
    dir E:\*.* /L /A /B /S|Find "iLivid" >> "%userprofile%\desktop\look.txt"

  • Save the file as Search.bat on your desktop. Make sure to change Save as type to... All Files . Note: if saved as a Text Documents(*.txt) it will not work.
  • Double click the file Search.bat to execute.
  • A look.txt will be created on your desktop copy and paste what it found in your next reply.

The Look file was created immediately and was empty. Yes, I did save the search file as All Files.
