I tried that a couple of times it didn't work.I even tried all the instructions on the page

Please download Junction.zip and save it to your desktop.

• Right click Junction.zip and choose extract all...
• When the Compressed Folders Extraction wizard opens, click Next
• Click Browse
• When the "select a destination" box opens, click My Computer > Local Disk (C:) > Windows > OK
• Back at the Extraction Wizard, click Next.
• Untick "Show Extracted Files" and click Finish
  
• Copy all text in the code box (below)...to Notepad, Do not include the word Code:
  

  @ECHO OFF
  
  cd c:\
  
  junction -s c:\>log.txt
  
  start log.txt
  
  del %0

• Save it to your desktop as File name: junc.bat.
• Save as type: All Files.
  
  junc.bat<<------------- you should see this on your desktop.
• Right click on junc.bat and select " Run as administrator " to execute it.
• A black CMD window will flash, then disappear...this is normal.
• A file should appear on your Desktop. Please post the contents of this file.

Post the junction log and how you got on with the updates in your next reply.

I tied updating to Windows 7 SP1 it failed it told me ''The operation returned becoz the timeout period expired'
this is the 6th time i am trying to do this update each time it download large files and takes like 3.5-4 hours to install only.It is serious waste of time can i skip it if it is not of the utmost importance becoz it has become a pain pls advice

Hi Neil, Sorry for the delay.

This update is really important for your system and you really need to install it anyway you can. I have run out of ideas on what you need to do to install it but there are other tech forums who have experts in this field. I will post links to these forums and I urge you to visit one of them to get this resolved. You should inform them that you received help for a zeroaccess infection and that Windows 7 Service Pack 1 fails to install after its removal.

This is my general post when a user has a problem thats not Malware related.

The problems you are still experiencing are not coming from malware as all of your latest logs have come back clean.
As this is a dedicated Malware Removal site I think those issues are best left to experts elsewhere..

If i said thank u i would feel guilty since i cannot express in words that the help u provided me in getting rid of the virus.I was baffled by your patience,understanding and kindness.Hats of to u mate.I strongly believe that without your help i would have broken my head off.You have done an amazing job & should be proud of it.Thank u once again and billion more times.I will approach the links you have suggested me to use
