Malware on computer

My computer is infected with some form of malware and I can't get rid of it. The obvious signs are ads being placed on web pages where they don't belong. I also had my credit card number stolen after making an online transaction using the same computer. It seems these may be related. I've ran virus scans using Norton (provided by our ISP) and McAffee (provided for free by Facebook.com - they also flagged our computer for unauthorized ads), with nothing showing up. I've also removed any programs that didn't look right, but the sneaky ads still exist. Our next step has been to run HiJackThis and I submitted the log - it didn't mean anything to me, hopefully one of you experts can help. Thanks in advance.

Posting Logs as Attachments

May I draw your attention to the topic: ALL USERS OF THIS FORUM MUST READ THIS FIRST, which you should have read before posting for help.

The instructions for running DDS found HERE, state how we need you to post the logs, so we can help you.

The section here explains why you should not post attachments unless the helper assisting you requests that you do so.

If you still require assistance, please start a new topic and copy and paste your DDS logs (DDS.txt and Attach.txt) and wait for a new helper. Thank you for your understanding.
