Hi. I am erick, I recently purchased pc which got infected by Windows Necessary Firewall. I don't know how I got it.
To remove Windows Necessary Firewall virus i had come across through a website http://www.fixspywarenow.com/2011/05/28 ... tructions/

I ran the tool 2 iexplore http://www.thelivetech.com/speedpc to remove the virus. The scan completed very quickly. I could not notice what happend. I am not really sure whether the scan really happend or not. After a fraction of secound the entire page vanished and my system returned to its home page and now it does not allow me to browse any thing and install. what should I do now.

Please do NOT join in someone else's topic.

You need to open a new topic, you also need to post a log so we can help.

By posting just a description of your problems it is likely that your topic will be passed by and you will not receive the help you're looking for.

We need to know what's running on your computer so we can give you appropriate instructions.

May I draw your attention to THIS topic, which you should have read, and which tells you what we need you to post so that we can help you.

This topic will now be closed.

If you still need help, please start a new thread with:

  • FRST.txt
  • Addition.txt
  • Details of your problems.

If for any reason you can't run FRST, please let us know in your post.
