My laptop PC (Dell L401X) is unable to boot into Win7 (incl. Safe Mode) after a malware infection. I receive a BSOD. I have performed a chkdsk /f, and no problems were identified. I have run a memory diagnostic, and no problems were identified. I have tried Startup Repair, and no problems are identified. The specific stop is "*** STOP: 0x0000007B (0xFFFFF880009A9928, 0xFFFFFFFFC000000D, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000). I placed DDS on a USB flash drive, but I cannot run it as the "required subsystem is not available." Is there a way to recover, or do I need to wipe the drive and reinstall Win7?
Hi chrisrbaker,

To remove malware remotely we need to use tools that provide the information that we need to diagnose and fix the problem. Unfortunately if the computer will not boot to allow the tools to be run it makes it impossible for us to remotely fix the computer.

The only way that I can recommend to get the computer up and running in a reasonable period of time is to reinstall Windows.
