Hi

I am new here but hope someome can help me. I rebooted my computer and get an error message - "applemobiledeviceservice.exe application error" Under that it says "The exception unknown software exception (0xc6d007e) occurred in the application at location 0x7c812afb". I can click okay or cancel but then my machine just shows my desktop wallpaper (but no taskbar, icons or menus or anything that I can click on.
I am running windows xp. I do have itunes on the computer but havent used it for a long time. I cant get into the control panel or anything like that. I can enter the setup but i havent touched anything in here because I wouldnt know where to start.

Grateful for any advice/tips. It was running fine before I rebooted it, perhaps just a little slow.

Thanks in advance
