Good Morning,

Ok, well things seem to be operating correctly. The desltop icons that were 'shadowed' were actually hidden after the OTL fix and are still shadowed. I used the show hidden files feature to reveal them on the desktop but they are still shadowed. The icons that are properly bright were not hidden after the fix, thus my previous post.

I still keep getting the windows 7 basic color scheme alert; again, however, there seems to be no issues regarding that as the proper color setup returns to normal after game play. I'm thinking that now it's a memory issue rather than a 'critter' issue.

So what do you think?

I don't see any malware on your system.
Some of the gaming programs are not squeaky clean as far as restoring settings, etc.
