Windows 7 Didn't Boot, Even to Safe Mode - Restored Image

Unread postby SpinFantastic » August 27th, 2011, 12:19 am

I woke up and saw my Windows 7 machine was still booting. It was very odd because I did not reboot it.
I turned off and tried again to no avail. A couple more times didnt' work.

I tried to boot safe mode. That did not boot either.

Finally I performed a System Image restore using Windows 7 backup/restore.
My system is backup up and running, but I am afraid I am infected with some Malware and its going to happen again.

I looked in the event log and noticed alot on NT Authority logins - Special privileges assigned to new logon. Dont' know much about it. Is this someone coming in?

Your help much appreciated.
