Hi -

With reference to my last post that was closed by the administrator - viewtopic.php?f=12&t=56887
, I would like to add that I have tried running DDS scan on the computer in safe mode(with networking support) and it starts but never completes.
If I boot in the normal mode, I am not even able to run any program.

Please advise what other steps should I try and I would be happy to try them

We understand that you are having difficulty running certain programs, including DDS. However, in order for us to help you it is necessary that you provide us with a DDS log and it is possible you may be able to do this by following these instructions:

It may be necessary to download the program below, using a different, clean computer and put it on a CD or DVD. Avoid using a Flash drive as these can become infected as well.

Download/run Rkill:
Please download Rkill from one of the following links and save to your Desktop:

One, Two or Three

  • Double click on Rkill.
  • A command window will open then disappear upon completion, this is normal.
  • Please leave Rkill on the Desktop until otherwise advised.

Note: If your security software warns about Rkill, please ignore and allow the download to continue.

Next, please follow the guideline at the link below to start a new topic and post your DDS log. If you are unable to create and post a DDS log, then your only option may be to reformat your computer and reinstall the operating system.

This topic is now closed. Please start a new topic by following the guideline posted here: >Guideline for posting your DDS log<
